Anna's Blessing and Father's Day

Today Anna was blessed at church, and she got quite dressed up for the occasion! When we got to church she was wide awake, and everytime the microphone was close to her she started crying, so the blessing was pretty short. Short, but sweet!

Isn't she adorable? The pink bow on her head was a sweet touch, I thought :-)

With Nanna and Papa outside of the church

With her Daddy (who had worked all night, so he's reeeeallly tired)

With Grandma Rae Rae

With Mommy

She's growing up so fast! We were worried the dress would be too big, but she surprised us all by fitting it just fine.

We also had our Father's Day brunch/dinner here in Buena Vista--some yummy fettucini alfredo (Rachel Ray's delicious recipe) with chicken and broccoli. Mmmm mmm good! And quick, too :-)

Now for naps!

Is it really mid-June?

Really? June 18th? Where did time go?

So, to recap:

Anna was born May 28th. Yay!
JJ got married June 3rd. Woohoo!
I was thrown and awesome surprise baby shower on June 5th. Yippee!
Logan went back to work June 8th (sad, but good. He was going stir crazy, poor guy)
Connie and Tad, my in-laws, arrived on June 15th. Hooray!

So, things have been a little crazy and definitely not on any kind of schedule around here. I think it's starting to take a toll on my wee ones, because they've been all kinds of nutters lately. Anna's been very calm and sweet (thank goodness!) and has been sleeping pretty well for someone her age (three weeks!), but her brothers...like I said, all kinds of nutters. I'll spare you the gorey details, but I'm hoping once things settle down they will too.

Although they did do something pretty cute. I don't have a picture, but when I checked on them just now I found them asleep under the rocking chair. They'd turned it upside down to make a kind of fort out of it. Crazy kids!

Anywhoo, here are some pictures (since I've been so lacking in that department recently):

Daddy-Daughter nap time

Logan bought the boys a Toy Story slip and slide. Tommy loooooves playing in the water!

Jack thinks it's cool, too. He just doesn't want to use it.

Always so helpful! When he wants to be, that is...

The attendees of my shower. L-R: Carolena Graves, with her daughter Elenore; Me, with Tommy on my lap; Rebecca DeSpain holding Anna; Cami Cooper; Mom; Grace Mullen; Jessica Casperson (front); Back: Tara Feinauer (cousin); my sister Hope; my sister Christy; my Aunt Mary

Tomorrow is Anna's blessing day! Really hoping that she'll be in a good mood...guess we'll find out! I'll try and actually take pictures of her in her outfit. I haven't been great at that in the past with the boys...

June 18th? Really?
