Family Photos video

I totally stole this idea from my friend Holly Hirt, but it was so cute I couldn't help myself! Below is a slideshow presentation of our fall family photos. Enjoy! :-) And, oh, there is music too!

More Family Photos!

So, I'm having a hard time uploading my family photos to blogger, but check out my facebook profile to see some more of our family photos!

Temple Trip!

Today was Stake Temple day, and our stake presidency challenged the entire stake to attend, so it was packed! The boys and I went up with Nanna and Papa, and we traded off kid watching during the day. It was a long day (and not exactly easy to amuse children on temple grounds!) but it was great to be there!

Some cute photos of the boys :-)

Tommy was SOOOOO excited to see his friend Josh there!

They had fun playing together :-)

The boys knocking on the doors (no one answered)

Tommy really wanted to go in....

Aren't they adorable?!

Blowing Out The Candle (video)

Happy Birthday to Tommy!

Tommy Turns 3!!

I can't believe my little boy is 3 years old! It's insane. His birthday was on Saturday, but since we had so much going on (homecoming, Mountain Day, work [Logan], and Stake Conference) we decided to celebrate it on Sunday instead. I've started a little tradition of putting streamers over the boys doorway on their birthday, and they love it! As soon as Tommy walked out of his room, he knew it was a "Happy Birthday" day! He helped his daddy ice his cake, and loved his Toy Story-themed party and presents. The most amazing part of the day to me was when I lit the candle on the cake. I thought for sure he'd want to blow it out immediately, but he waited until we finished singing the song, and then, without anyone prompting him, he blew out his candle! He's so grown up (**sniff**)!

This weekend was also the Mountain Day festival, and Mom and I had a great time taking the kids around to the different booths downtown, eating treats and having fun! It's nice that it falls near Tommy's birthday every year.

Eating our free popcorn and watching the entertainment

At the ever-popular SPCA booth (lots of doggies and kitties!)

Tommy playing with the water pumps (they have these every year, and they're lots of fun!)

A fun weekend for all!

Lotsa Little Things

I didn't realize it had been a month since my last real post! Time certainly flies. September was full of "lotsa little things" for our family that just added up to me feeling busy most of the time. A good kind of busy, though.

My lia sophia shows turned out better than I expected (although the outlook at the beginning of the month was grim.) My last show turned out FABULOUS, which really saved the month for me. A big thanks to Nanna for watching the boys several nights in a row this month! She's earning her jewelry for sure :-) Our training this month was very inspiring, so hopefully I'll be able to implement some of the things we talked about and make my business better!

I also had a Dove Chocolate Discoveries party, with my cousin Rebekah Cowne as the sales advisor. She drove all the way from Richmond for the party, and we had a lot of fun (and ate a lot of chocolate), but I felt horrible because she hit a deer on her way home! She's okay, but her car's seen better days...

Our friends the Grave's are back in town! We've missed Jon and Carolena so much! It's great to see them again. We went to a festival at Boxerwood (that amazing children's play garden) the day after they got back, and it was fun to see our children interact (especially since Jack and Elenore were little babies last time they saw each other).

My birthday was yesterday, and it was a good day! Logan was sweet and made me breakfast in bed (french toast!) before he left for work to rake in the overtime dollars. We like those a lot! It was a reunion weekend for one of the colleges in Lexington, so he was kept plenty busy. Me and the boys then went to the Fawson Alumni house on the SVU campus to help clean and get ready for homecoming next weekend. After general conference Nanna, Papa and JJ took me out to eat at Don Tequila's, which was a fun treat. It's been a while since it was just the four of us in a car, especially with me and JJ in the back seat! We also had delicious pumpkin pie after Priesthood session got out. YUM!

I don't feel any different today than I did yesterday, so I guess that's good. Today was nice and relaxing, and I loved the conference talks! It's always nice when the Prophet speaks and my birthday, and the Tabernacle Choir serenades me :-)

Here's some pictures! Sorry, none were taken of the birthday festivities, but I DO have some cute ones of my boys!

Strange fact: Jack LOVES to brush his teeth. He'd do it all day if I let him.
