Logan and I decided last Monday that we needed to get out of the house, so we decided to take the boys to Lake Robertson outside of Lexington. Amusingly, the boys both fell asleep during the drive! When we got there we saw that it would be a great place to camp, but wasn't really a great place to take little kids for a day swim, so we turned around to go home. A few miles outside of Buena Vista they both woke up again, so we decided to stop at the river and let them play for a bit (since we'd gone through the trouble of putting them in swimsuits). Tommy is pretty brave in the water, so we think next summer it will be time to sign him up for swimming lessons. He has a pretty fun lifejacket (it's Batman!) and he's gotten pretty good at getting on his feet again when he stumbles in the water. He's growing up so fast!

Wading in the water
Tommy loved grabbing rocks and throwing them. His Daddy even showed him how to skip rocks (but he hasn't mastered that skill yet!)
Logan teaching Tommy how to "recover" (get back on his feet).

Check out my awesome swim wear! (I actually have a bathing suit on, you just can't see it).
Jack WAS with us during this outing--he just wasn't a big fan of the water, and kept trying to grab the camera when I went to take a picture of him. Trust me, though, he looks adorable in swim trunks!
